Daylight Savings Blues

time for a time change

when daylight gets rearranged;

weary transition

Tiny Inkling

a germ idea

as fragile as a whisper

grows into a book

How Quickly … How Quickly

savor each moment

lest they pile up into years

we just let happen

A Morning Thought

My hope for today:

to see small acts of kindness,

some of them from me

Second Guessing . . . Again

tucked in for the night

almost asleep when, oh-oh,

did I lock the door?

No Tickets Needed

waking up early

greeted with neighborhood noise

pre-dawn “street music”

Tender Times

oh, February,

month emotionally charged

always here too soon
